Attendance Drive 2026
Thanks to Ms O'Dowd and to Laura who launched our Attendance Drive today and who brought the Brendan Martin cup to visit us aswell. Ms O'Dowd spoke about the importance of coming to school every day and also about how coming to school everyday can impact your sporting career.

ANSEO Advent Attendance
Thank you to Francesca, Elisabeta, Bianca, Crina and Andrea who organised our Advent Attendance drive as well as working with Margaret from our School Completion Programme.
We all had lots of fun with the activities including Santy's Sack Races, Hot chocolates, Tug of War, music in the yard, Rudolph Relay Races and lots more. Keep coming to school every day girls!

Christmas Concerts 2025
There was great talent on show in St Vincent's today between singing, dancing and acting. Well done to all the girls and their teachers for putting on such a wonderful concert. Nollaig Shona!

Maths Walk
Rooms 5 and 7 braved the bad weather recently to go on a maths walk. They looked for lots of different signs and symbols in our local environment.

Junior Infant Cooking Skills
Junior infants have been working on their cooking skills with Eilis. They've been cutting and tasting lots of different vegetables and today they made a delicious pasta sauce. Future chefs in the making!

Bhí bricfeasta ag Room 19 leis an Anseo Béar mar go raibh na cailíní ar scoil gach lá. D'ith siad ispíní, pancóga, sméara, torthaí agus tósta. Bhí gach run an-bhlasta! Maith sibh a chailíní.
5th Class Cycling October 2025
Room 18 had their first cycling lesson this morning in the canal yard. Well done to all the girls who participated. The girls will be working on their cycling skills as well as learning about how to cycle safely over the next few weeks.
6th Class Trip to Joey's
6th Class were invited to visit Joey's secondary school recently. The girls got to participate in lots of fun activities including being set on fire!
ANSEO Bear Visits Room 19
Room 19 had 100 percent attendance all week last week. The ANSEO Bear is visiting their classroom all week! Well done girls, keep up the great work!

Royal Canal Greenway
After a long wait the Royal Canal Greenway beside our school is officially open.
Some girls attended the official opening along with the Lord Mayor of Dublin.

Thanks to Lesa from Leebow who delivered very informative and up to date presentations on internet safety to all the girls in the school as well as to the parents. We encourage all parents to chat to their children about their internet safety lesson.

GAA Team
Well done to all the girls in 4th, 5th and 6th class who have been training and playing matches with our GAA team. It's great to see so many girls wanting to play on our team! A special well done to the girls who played their first match ever for St Vincents! Maith sibh!
Croke Park Superstars!
Well done to our girls who played in Croke Park this summer. Layla played during the All Ireland football semi final between Tyrone and Kerry and Kaydi Rae played during the camogie All Ireland final and was well supported by her Scoil Ui Chonaill team mate Pennie. We hope to see lots more St Vincent's girls playing in Croke Park in the future.
